We are wanting to hire a car from you at Dublin Airport on April 6th. I am now 75 years old. Do I require a Dr. Certificate as I will not be 76 until October this year

Driver's aged 25 to 75 years:- Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified: Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency. In the case of our partner SIXT there is a young drivers fee:- Driver's age 25 to 75 years. Young driver's age: 24 to 24 years. Charge 38 EUR per day. Includes 13.5% tax Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

Customers over 75 years are eligible to rent with the following specific conditions: - You must drive on a regular basis; -You will need to provide to the counter a letter from your insurance company to state that you have not had an accident within the last 5 years, that you hold a current policy of motor insurance with you and that you are currently driving; -You will need to provide a current letter from your doctor to state you have been in good health. *THE EXCEPTION* If you make your search and choose ALAMO or ENTERPRISE, the upper age limit is 99 yrs old.
